Turner Field Site Summary
We visited Turner Field on Thursday, November 3rd. We first toured the outside of the stadium and looked at all the statues honoring players. Then we went into the museum and looked around. The first part inside the stadium that we toured was the Coca-Cola sky field. We saw where the cheapest seats were, where you can run the bases, and also the really big chairs. Next we went to the 775 club area and the suites and saw what they looked like. We then went in the broadcasting areas and saw what goes on behind the scenes. Then we went and looked at the training room and locker rooms before heading to the field. Once on the field we went in the dugout and then we walked down the baseline to the back of the field. Next we went to the back of the stadium where the big scoreboard and the restaurants were. we ended the tour back at the museum. I found it very interesting that they cut and water the grass two times a day during the growing season. They also have their own grass farm.
